Chew Valley WEDDINGS
Chew Valley Weddings are located in a tranquil spot with stunning views over Chew Valley Lake, an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of the Chew Valley. Conveniently situated within 20 minutes of the centre of Bristol and 30 minutes from Bath.
The basic weekend package secures the site for your exclusive use Friday to Sunday. From 2019 there are opportunities to hire mid-week at discounted prices too.
They will provide the tipis, bar and heavenly food for your wedding celebrations, after which they can support as much or as little as you wish. Whatever your vibe, the 30-acre woodland site is a natural canvas for you to create, something bespoke and personal to you.
Walton Castle
Walton Castle is the opportunity to have your very own castle, exclusively for you and those extra special people in your life. Surrounded by stunning countryside and coastal view.
At the castle there is no corkage and no compulsory catering either, allowing you to design your own menus and eat what you want, when you want it! The castle also boasts accommodation, indoor swimming pool and fabulous gardens.
Furnhill Farm, Compton Martin
The weddings at Fernhill are tailored to you having a unique experience. They allow a relaxed atmosphere and the wedding to take place over a whole weekend with a two-night stay that allows you exclusive access to the site.
There are two different main venue options, the Horseshoe Barns and the Agricultural Sheds. With the existing accommodation and camping field it is the perfect alternative wedding destination.
The Old School Rooms, Chew Magna
In the heart of this beautiful and conveniently situated village, beside the historic 14th Century church of St Andrew, Chew Magna, the 16th Century Old School Room offers an attractive and functional venue for your party and wedding reception.
The main Upper Hall has a beautiful beamed ceiling and a natural oak floor and will seat up to 100 guests. It is part of a complex of three historic halls, complemented by a south facing terraced area. Each room or combination of rooms can be hired to suit the occasion. By the hour, the day or a whole weekend – whatever suits your needs.
YOUR VENUE HOME AND AWAY
As location caterers we have the experience and expertise to set up a field kitchen wherever the event. If you have found your dream venue and it is new to us, we will liaise with the venue manager and carry out a full site visit. If it is at home or a private venue we will happily go see and advise.
